Lose 1lb of Fat in 24 Hours?

In the previous post, we discussed about the best ab exercises to prepare for the summer, but as mentioned, your abs are made in the kitchen. Which means, your diet plays the main role in making those abs pop out. All you have to do is reduce the bodyfat percentage and you are golden.

If you have been trying to lose weight for a very long time, you have probably looking for the best diet program to follow to get noticeable and successful results, especially after all the effort you put into your diet.

NO Counting Calories!

Counting calories, proportionate macro ratios to adjust your protein, carb and fat intake is very time consuming and it can only hurt you in the long run when you fall off the wagon, even for a day!

It is mentally stressful and makes you an anti-social person.

Enter intermittent fasting. It is very much in trend right now than it was a few years ago. Many models, and bodybuilders are adapting to intermittent fasting, all thanks to one primary benefit - NO MORE COUNTING CALORIES!

The basic rule of your diet regiment is the formula, calories out should be greater than calories in.

You can up your workout game to increase the calories out, but it can be very difficult as mentioned before to watch the calories in.

You can now break the cycle, by adding intermittent fasting to your diet.

This is not the exact science as to how IF works, but here's my justification on why this approach is convenient.

1 pound of fat = 3500 calories.

Thereby to reduce 1 pound of fat per week, you have to burn 3500 calories. You can do this by reducing 500 calories per day for 7 days to reduce 1lb of fat. You can increase your workout intensity to do the same.

You can share the calorie burn between your diet and workout.

If you follow the intermittent fasting method preached by EAT STOP EAT, you do not eat for 24 hours. That's around 1800 to 2500 calories depending on your body size, WHICH YOU WOULD SKIP while you are fasting. You can learn more about this program here: https://www.suspensionrev.com/eat-stop-eat-faqs/

In order to lose weight, you have to fast 2 days a week for 24 hours. That's 3600 to 4000 calories. Isn't it amazingly simple? No counting calories, no watching what you eat, and you just burnt enough calories for the week.

I call it my shortcut to getting lean.

I'm not saying this is THE best diet to follow, but it is the best for me and whoever I recommend this approach to.

There is one important condition to IF diets. You have to maintain your muscle at the same time, or your body will eat up your muscle first. Keep your workouts active, focus more on muscle building.

In my honest experience, this combo has always given me the best look in terms of appearance.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article on the best diet program to follow. Stay tuned for my next article, what could it be about?
